Cancel Order Request?

 Once an order is processed and payment is captured we are charged 3% buy the processing company (Paypal for example) which is not refundable. There for any order placed with a cancellation requested shortly after is subject to a 3% fee being withheld from the refund given.

 

30 Day Return Policy

This does not apply to products that have been modified, damaged, misused or abused.

*Products purchased in a kit/combo are only eligible for return if the ENTIRE KIT/COMBO is returned at the same time. Individual items inside a kit/combo cannot be returned separately.

All Returns are subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee and are not eligible for a refund on original shipping or return shipping.

Is my item new never installed?
Is my item still in the original packaging?
Has it been less than 30 days?

Before returning an item you must provide a picture of the item in its present condition

Your Return must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, new in the original packaging. This is important because if you received a new part for your car and someone else had already torn into the packaging, it simply would not feel right.

Once we receive your item, we will inspect and issue a refund by way of the original payment method. We can also provide an exchange if requested. You will receive the refund within 2-3 Business days, depending on your card issuer's policies.

Received an item not as described?

We know that sometimes mistakes happen, and we are happy to correct the mistakes at no cost to you. We must be notified within 3 business days of an item received with any defects or shipping damage.

Manufacturer's warranty - Some manufacturers prefer working directly with the customer, and if an item was miss packaged or other issues out of the box, you might be asked to reach out to the manufacturer for assistance.

Shipping Damage - If an item is damaged in shipping, UPS and FedEx claims can take up to 30 business days to complete. We must be notified within 3 business days to initiate a claim.

NON RETURNABLE - Installed Parts, Clearance Items, Special Orders, Open Box, Used Goods. 

REFUSED / UNDELIVERABLE ORDERS

Refused or undeliverable orders that are returned to our facility will be processed like a standard return; this means all shipping costs, including return freight charges and any return-to-sender fees assessed by the shipping carrier, will be deducted from the product refund. Keep in mind that international orders which have been refused by the receiver or deemed undeliverable by the shipping carrier may be subject to duties, taxes, customs charges or brokerage fees on the return shipment. Built Not Bought Automotive LLC reserves the right to deduct these additional costs, in addition to all freight charges, from the product refund. If you would like to return an item it is recommended that all shipments be accepted and then sent back following our standard return process. Refusing a package has the potential to have it refused, cause delays in return shipping as well as incur additional shipping charges.

PRODUCT REFUNDS

Once your return shipment has been received and approved, a refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to the original form of payment. The refund will most likely appear on your credit statement within 1-5 business days, depending on your bank's processing practices. Please keep in mind that only returns which meet all RMA conditions and return policy requirements will be eligible for a refund. Built Not Bought Automotive LLC does not refund shipping charges for returned items, and orders which qualified for our Free Shipping Promotion will not receive a refund for the credited shipping charges. Any customs or duties charges incurred upon returning an international shipment will be charged to the original form of payment. Refused or undeliverable orders may also be subject to return freight fees, duties, taxes, customs charges or brokerage fees. PRODUCT WARRANTIES

Built Not Bought Automotive LLC does not offer any type of warranty coverage for defective products. However, the majority of the products available through our website are covered separately under a manufacturer's warranty. If you recently purchased a product from Builtnotboughtauto.com and are concerned about the fitment or performance of your item, please contact a member of our customer service department for assistance. Our customer service representatives can provide installation support, troubleshooting advice, and assistance identifying the possibility of any manufacturer defects. If we suspect your product does have serious defects, our customer service department can serve as a contact with the manufacturer to help arrange a warranty inspection and, if applicable, any necessary repairs or replacement shipments. If you wish, you may also contact the manufacturer directly for information regarding product eligibility and specific terms and conditions of warranty coverage.

SHIPPING POLICY

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days and expected to ship with out 24 to 48 hours from time of the original order. Standard ground shipping will allow delivery between 1 and 5 business days. Please contact us for International shipping options. 

All Items will be shipped by best way. This may include USPS, UPS and Fedex. Signature Confirmation are only required if the value is greater then $800.00. Any order under $800 will not include a Signature Confirmation but can be included at additional charge upon request.

Once tracking shows "delivered" is it out of our hands. If a package is missing or stolen, a Police Report will need to be filed on the receivers end and we the shipper will open a "Lost" item claim with the shipping company.

We do not guarantee any refund or replacement for stolen packages, as this is out of our hands and not something we feel we should be held liable for.
